Hillsborough Cinemas Presents Summer Movie Series
Hillsborough Cinemas is hosting a summer movie series starting this Tuesday. Throwback animated movies will be featured on Tuesday mornings for $1 admission and throwback family friendly movies will be shown on Wednesday nights for $3 admission. The summer movie series is scheduled to run from June 25 through August 13.

The Montgomery Farmers Market, sponsored by the Montgomery Friends of Open Space (MFOS), is now open for the summer!! It is held every Saturday through October 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. within the Village Shopper parking area.
HHS Theatre Puts on Shakespeare’s Classic “Romeo and Juliet”
Hillsborough Hight School Theatre performed a new interpretation of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, “Romeo and Juliet” on June 7 and 8. With an abridged script, smaller cast size, and soundtrack accompaniment that helped with the momentum and the plot of the show, spectators were in a for an action-packed night.
Aladdin: A Blockbuster for the Whole Family
A considerable amount of buzz surrounded the live-action remake of Disney’s animated hit “Aladdin”, which originally premiered in 1992. Here’s our review of the new version of the film that crushed other current movies in the box office, raking in an estimated $85.1 million over Memorial Day.
Register for Somerset County "Police Youth Week" 2019
The Somerset County Police Academy is conducting a five-day program called “Police Youth Week” July 15 through 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is open to students in grades 9 through 12 who are residents of Somerset County or are enrolled in a secondary school. The program is free and will be held at the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy at 402 Roycefield Road in Hillsborough, NJ.
Hillsborough High School Choir Spring Concert
Hillsborough High School Choir took the stage for its concert of the year on Thursday May 30th. Students sang a combination of classical and contemporary pieces with the occasional joke between songs.
HHS Senior Prom
Hillsborough High School hosted its Senior Prom at the Hilton East Brunswick on Friday, May 17th. It was a day to dress-up, celebrate and reminisce for HHS Seniors before they move on to new adventures.
Mrs. Woods Annual Exodus
Woods Road School’s resident Momma Duck, Mrs. Woods, made her annual exodus from the building with her ducklings last week. It was a special treat for students and staff to bid her goodbye until next year.

2/19 Hillsborough Voter Registration Deadline for School Referendum
Hillsborough residents who are not currently registered to vote are reminded that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming March 12, 2019, school referendum is February 19, 2019. Residents will be asked to vote on Hillsborough Township Public Schools’ plan to invest in the future of the district by implementing a full-day kindergarten program as well as assisting the Board in laying out a plan for long-term financial stability.

Duke Farms' Sugar Maple Festival
On Saturday, February 9th, Duke Farms held their annual Sugar Maple Festival. This event welcomed people of all ages, including first-timers and returning Duke guests. Activities engaged visitors in nature hikes and the maple tapping process.

Hillsborough High School Battle of the Bands 2019
Last weekend, Hillsborough High School hosted two events that captured the essence of performing arts in the community. On Friday, February 1st, the HHS Debate Team organized the school’s annual Battle of the Bands. Five bands performed, four led by HHS students, and one comprising of HHS Faculty. There was a mix of original material, as well as classics by Blink 182, Nirvana, and Queen.
