Kaitlyn Williams Invited To Play In USA Field Hockey Nexus Championship
Kaitlyn, a Hillsborough High School Freshman, is part of an elite group of 288 players from the U-16 division who have been selected Nationally and will work with USA Field Hockey’s Coaching Staff and compete in a five-game tournament.
Two Individuals at Hillsborough Middle School Test Positive For COVID-19
Per latest information released by Hillsborough Township Public Schools, two individuals at Hillsborough Middle School (including at student on the HMS’ Girls Soccer Team) have tested positive for COVID-19.
Hillsborough vs. Montgomery Game Day Guidelines
Hillsborough Township Public Schools has released guidelines for Game Day for the Raiders vs. Cougars game to be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 7:00 pm. These guidelines will be strictly enforced to ensure the safety and well being of all attendees.
Update On Hillsborough High School and Middle School Sports Following Positive Covid-19 Results
Upon completion of additional contact tracing by the HTPS nursing department and the DOH it has been determined that currently there is no risk of COVID-19 exposure and Fall Sports programs at High School and Hillsborough Middle School may resume as planned.

Girl Scout Hosts Softball Expo as Part of Gold Award
Katie Rygiel, a girl scout, local Hillsborough High School student and varsity softball player, chose to do her Gold Award Project about softball education. Part of her project is the Softball Expo, an event sponsored by the Hillsborough Recreation Department, entitled Why Softball? The event, to be held on Saturday, August 10th, will be run by Rygiel with help from the Hillsborough Recreation Department, the Hillsborough High School Varsity Softball team and the Top Gun Fastpitch Organization. At the event, girls can participate in drills that teach different skills, but are also fun and enjoyable.
Hillsborough Hockey Plays In State Finals
While the fall may be dedicated to football rallies and soccer games, Hillsborough Raider pride shined through at last week Monday’s hockey game, with Boro Hockey competing in the state championships.
Hillsborough High School Cheer's Road to Disney
During a weekend in February, Hillsborough High School’s Varsity Competition Cheer Team competed at the annual UCA (United Cheer Association) High School Cheer Competition in Disney World, Florida.

I am 45 years old and was raised in Los Angeles, California. Los Angeles wasn't much of a hockey town until the Great One, #99 Wayne Gretzky arrived. Even then, most people only watched hockey when the Los Angeles Kings made the playoffs. I went to my first Hockey game just 10 miles South of Hillsborough down 206, a little gem known as the Hobey Baker Arena where the Princeton University Hockey team plays.
