Hillsborough vs. Montgomery Game Day Guidelines

 

Hillsborough Township Public Schools has released guidelines for a safe Game Day for the Raiders vs. Cougars game to be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Details below.


All spectators, both home and away, will be expected to abide by all rules and regulations of Hillsborough Township Public Schools, New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association, and Skyland Conference, including:  

TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE GATE. ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE PASSES PROVIDED BY THE ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT WILL BE ADMITTED.

  • Outdoor gatherings are limited to 500 people. 

  • SPECTATORS OF ANY AGE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO STAND OUTSIDE THE FENCE AND WATCH THE GAME AS THAT WOULD VIOLATE THE 500 PERSON LIMIT ESTABLISHED BY THE GOVERNOR 

  • Spectators – The Governor established outdoor gathering guidelines in NJ Executive Order 161.

  • Please be advised these guidelines may change at any time. Please refer to the nj.gov website for updates.

  • All spectators attending outdoor events must wear face coverings, unless it would inhibit the individual’s health. 

  • All spectators must follow social distancing guidelines set by the host school district or facility.

  • All spectators must wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth at all times while on campus for all events unless under the age of two, people who have trouble breathing, or people who cannot remove the mask without assistance.

  • All spectators must maintain six-foot social distancing expectations, except within family units.

  • Spectators will not be permitted in the high school or field house for any reason.  Outdoor bathrooms have been provided for spectator use and can be found in the stadium by the main entrance along with a handwashing station as well as near our tennis courts and grass fields.

  • Failure to follow the procedures may result in removal from the event as well as jeopardize attendance at further events.

  • There is no tailgating on HHS property.

  • Please use only designated parking areas.

  • Proper attire is expected.  Faces cannot be covered by masks.

Prohibited in the stadium:

  • Purses larger than 5”x 5”, backpacks, string bags, or bags of any kind are not permitted in the stadium.

  • Opened or unopened drinks of any kind cannot be brought into the stadium, we will have water for purchase for $1…exact change only

  • Use of any form of electronic noise-making device

  • Footballs, soccer balls, or any other type of balls

  • Bikes, skateboards

  • Banners, signs

  • Consumption or possession of an alcoholic beverage or illegal substance

  • No smoking on school grounds including parking lots.  This includes smokeless tobacco and e-cigarettes.

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior towards fans, players, officials or coaches

  • Use of profanity or any derogatory comments

  • Dogs, cats, or any other type of animal
