Hillsborough Schools To Be Closed Effective Monday, March 16th
In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, all Hillsborough Township Public Schools will be closed for a minimum of two weeks effective Monday, March 16 and will follow a flexible learning schedule.
Hillsborough Township Public Schools - Half Day Tomorrow, March 12th
Tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2020, all Hillsborough Township Public Schools will once again follow a half day schedule for students. PM preschool and kindergarten programs will be in session, however no lunches will be served.
Hillsborough Schools COVID-19 Update 2.1: Half Day March 12, 2020
Students will follow a half day schedule on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in order to provide teachers the opportunity to develop a reasonable, flexible learning framework that afternoon. Additional planning will take place during the previously scheduled inservice day on Friday, March 20.

Hillsborough To Hold Kindergarten Registration For The 2020-2021 School Year
Kindergarten registration for the 2020-2021 school year will be held weekdays from March 23 - April 3. All children who reside in Hillsborough and were born on or before October 1, 2015, are eligible to register for kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year.

Hillsborough Education Association (HEA) Releases "Best Of Boro" Press Release
Often touted as one of the best places to live—both in the state and in the nation— community partners are coming together to ensure that Hillsborough stays that way. This effort began on October 28th, when members of the Hillsborough Education Association (HEA) joined together with Mayor Frank DelCore, Deputy Mayor Doug Tomson, New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) President Marie Blistan, residents, students and representatives from neighboring unions like the Amalgamated Transit Union, to raise the question before the Hillsborough Board of Education, “What is Best for BORO?”

Hillsborough Township Board of Education To Proceed with a Referendum Vote on 12/10/19
On December 10, 2019, the Hillsborough Township Board of Education will hold a referendum vote for much needed capital projects across the nine school buildings. If approved, the district will finance $35.4 million to address critical capital expenditures across the nine school buildings which are not possible to fund through the operating budget.
