The Montgomery Farmer’s Market is Now Open!

The Montgomery Farmer’s Market is now open for the season. The Market, which opened on June 6th, will last until October 31st. This year it is being held at the Village Shoppes III (1378 Route 206S, Skillman NJ). The Market opens every Saturday at 9am and closes at 12pm.

Vendors

Various local vendors will be at the Market selling fresh produce, meats and products. The vendors this year include:

  • Christopher Soaps: They offer all natural, vegan soaps made with essential oils. You can shop for several different kinds of soaps and body scrubs from this vendor.

  • Clifford Family Farms: From this vendor you can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers.

  • Fairgrown Farm: They are selling a variety of fruits, vegetables and berries. Poultry, such as beef, pork and lamb are also available.

  • Griggstown Farms: Customers can purchase quality prepared foods, including fruit pies, pot pies and soups. They will also be selling chicken and other poultry.

  • Orchard Farm Organics: Their organic vegetables, flowers, pesto and sauces are available at the Market.

  • The Granola Bar: Handmade granola bars and loose granola from The Granola Bar are available for purchase.

  • Von Thun Farms: They offer all kinds of berries, fruits and vegetables.

  • Zell Farms: Customers can buy asian vegetables and mushrooms unique to Zell Farms.

Precautions

The Montgomery Farmer’s Market is following the governor’s guidelines to keep its customers and vendors safe while shopping. Those present in the market will be expected to maintain a 6 feet distance from others at the market and to bring their own masks. Preferably only one person per family should visit the market at a time. Children and pets are not allowed. Customers should not touch the products themselves and should instead request the vendors to package whichever items they wish to purchase. Those who are sick cannot attend. It is suggested that a neighbor perhaps or a friend should shop for them instead. Market traffic will also be regulated for the safety of the customers and vendors.

These guidelines will help make the most out of the customers’ shopping experience at this year’s Farmer’s Market.
