Montgomery High School to Host its First Women in Business Event
Montgomery Future Business Leaders of America club is hosting its first Women in Business Event. This event will take place on November 16th, 2019 at Montgomery High School from 8:30 AM - 2:20 PM. The theme of the event this year is to uplift. We hope to use this as a way to inspire and empower young women who are interested in the business field.
At the event, we will have a Q&A panel with corporate and local business leaders, as well as several workshops where young women can explore new skills. The women participating have come from a variety of different backgrounds. Some companies including J&J, TD Ameritrade, Rutgers Women in Business. All students will receive a S.W.A.G. tote that includes pens, notepads, scrunchies, etc. Additionally, there will be breakfast and lunch provided at the venue.
It is our mission to motivate and galvanize young women into action. We hope that you will support us in our endeavor and attend our event.
The admission fee is $5, and all proceeds will go directly to UN's Girl Up organization to fund girls' education in 3rd world countries and fight for gender equality.
