The market is located in River Road Park in Bedminster, every Saturday from 9am-1pm. It runs from the first week of June until the last week of October.

NUMC Brings Back Neshanic Flea Market

The Neshanic United Methodist Church has brought back the popular flea market that operated for years at the foot of the Neshanic Station Bridge. The new Neshanic Station Flea Market (which opened on Saturday, June 8th) runs every Saturday from 6:30 am to 1:00 pm, now through fall.

Register for Somerset County "Police Youth Week" 2019

The Somerset County Police Academy is conducting a five-day program called “Police Youth Week” July 15 through 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is open to students in grades 9 through 12 who are residents of Somerset County or are enrolled in a secondary school. The program is free and will be held at the Somerset County Emergency Services Training Academy at 402 Roycefield Road in Hillsborough, NJ.

HHS Senior Prom

Hillsborough High School hosted its Senior Prom at the Hilton East Brunswick on Friday, May 17th. It was a day to dress-up, celebrate and reminisce for HHS Seniors before they move on to new adventures.

Mrs. Woods Annual Exodus

Woods Road School’s resident Momma Duck, Mrs. Woods, made her annual exodus from the building with her ducklings last week. It was a special treat for students and staff to bid her goodbye until next year.

White Supremacist March in Palmer Square, Princeton

On January 12th, 2019, the white supremacist organization, New Jersey European Heritage Association (NJEHA), planned to march through Palmer Square in Princeton. Although the NJEHA called off their march at the last minute, it impacted many uninvolved citizens in the Princeton area, especially small business owners.

2/19 Hillsborough Voter Registration Deadline for School Referendum

Hillsborough residents who are not currently registered to vote are reminded that the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming March 12, 2019, school referendum is February 19, 2019. Residents will be asked to vote on Hillsborough Township Public Schools’ plan to invest in the future of the district by implementing a full-day kindergarten program as well as assisting the Board in laying out a plan for long-term financial stability.

Duke Farms' Sugar Maple Festival

On Saturday, February 9th, Duke Farms held their annual Sugar Maple Festival. This event welcomed people of all ages, including first-timers and returning Duke guests. Activities engaged visitors in nature hikes and the maple tapping process.

Paws For Reading

Paws for Reading is a program in which children read to SAVE Animal Shelter’s residing cats and dogs to help socialize the animals and to get them accustomed to human voices.

Hillsborough High School Battle of the Bands 2019

Last weekend, Hillsborough High School hosted two events that captured the essence of performing arts in the community. On Friday, February 1st, the HHS Debate Team organized the school’s annual Battle of the Bands. Five bands performed, four led by HHS students, and one comprising of HHS Faculty. There was a mix of original material, as well as classics by Blink 182, Nirvana, and Queen.
